What Kind of Leaders Do We Need?

In the beginning of Jan, 2011, three biggest Moto companies in the United States had a car show in Cobo Center Detroit. that is after GM and Chrysler filed bankruptcy and reorganized their business. Ford was the only company that recovered on its own and refused government’s assistance. They let government’s funding went to their components. Now all the America Moto companies pass through the tough time and have their business increased over 10%.

This is a happy ending. However, business reorganizing by filing bankruptcy is not fair for the share holders. Share holder‘s benefit is not being protected well in our system. GM and Chrysler are making profit after reorganizing and their ex- share holders get no benefit from that. Our big companies use share holder’s money to pay high salaries and high pension. When huge debt are accumulated those CEO simply cleared their hands and said game was over. They can easily get rid of their responsibility by filing bankruptcy. They use the same utilities, same business name and same market to make money meanwhile. The company is still there. They just wiped off the debt without paying any payment.

How can Ford avoided bankruptcy and even didn’t need government’s funding? It is said Ford’s CEO Alan Mulally is the key person who made the recover. He told senator, Steny H Hoyer, why he supported his opponents at that critical time. He said that if he had to make a choice again he would do the same thing because that is good for America’s industry and economic. I don’t know the exact strategy he applied to save his company. At least I see one thing — they researched new products that could save 30% oil.

Alan Mulally is smart, passionate and unselfish, a leader we need in this country. We need someone who has business experience and can practically lead this country passing through the economic crisis. I hardly care about what politicians said because I knew what they were going to say: decreasing tax, increasing education fee …. They never tell us what is the magic? How can they cut income and raise expenses the same time?

I hardly care about Tea Party’s slogans. Occasionally I heard people accused Pailin’s opinion and connected that to the massacre in Arizona. It is said she used a map with crosshairs to identify House members who supported Obama’s health care law. She used the words of Lock n’Load and reload to inflame people’s anger. She used a danger strategy to full fill her political dream. I agree that House members who support Obama’s health care law are not intelligent. However, no matter what those people not deserved to be nailed.

The political attacking Palin created help us nothing. She did that because she has no good ideas to help this country but wants to get the positions in our government. It seems people in our government tend to forget their final goal. They think all they have to do is creating arguments and fightings in the congress. They think they deserve their salary pay when they can kill their time by discussing something. Sitting in the president chair just like sitting in a music chair for them.We had Bush who represented some dangers groups. We than have Obama who does things without considering the consequences. It will be the end of this country if we have our presdent tell us to reload bullets. In some way Obama and Palin are the same, they simply know how to use people’s passion and anger.

Overthrowing a bad government leader is not enough. We should know clearly what kind of leaders do we actually need. We need someone like Alan Mulall. Usually smart, rich and unselfish business men don’t like to be a president particular when they have to spend huge money for the election. They can use their talent to make money for themselves. If that is the case our president should at least get advices from them but not from those beside teaching in schools and do nothing in their lives such as Larry Summers. This country needs some smart business people come out to do something. If we can select people like Alan Mulall as our president and without cost too much election fee American get hope. Otherwise, we go nowhere. What I mean the freedom that we have in our president election helps us go nowhere.
