Who can stand his homeland to be bombed?

June 21st, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

On June 19th 2011, NATO warplanes struck a residential neighborhood in Libya and killed 9 civilians included two children. In front of a camera a senior Libyan pointed at his home that was half blown apart and said: “Who can stand his own country being bombed like that?” I caught the scenery and comment in a Chinese news channel but did not find that in an American newspaper. That question from an ordinary individual expressed most Libyans’ anger and reflects their will: rebels who invited foreigners to bomb their own country will not be accepted by Libyans.

On the 20th of June, one day later, NATO again targeted a large family compound belonging to al-Hamidi, a close military officer of Gaddafi and killed at least 15 people. Three children were among those killed and two of them were al-Hamidi’s grandchildren.

From March 19 to June 20th 2011, NATO has launched 11,500 strikes and killed 856 civilians in Tripoli. France, Britain and the United States are the countries who started the strike under a United Nations resolution to protect civilians. During that time Gaddafi asked for a ceasefire and suggested holding elections in his country. He promised that if he lost he would step down. His proposals were rejected by the rebels. Due to the help of NATO the rebels have controlled one third of Libya where most of Libya’s oil installations are. Libya accused NATO of aggression in Libya and committing “crimes against humanity”.

NATO admitted that the killing occurred in 19th June was by mistake because of “a weapon system failure”. They meanwhile accused Gaddafi of using mosques and children’s parks as shields. IN NATO’s opinion Gaddafi should sit somewhere waiting to be killed. He should be accused if he doesn’t co-operate. We all know that even animals refuse to be killed. It is obvious that for saving his life Gaddafi will hide in hospitals, hotels with children and women. NATO’s accusing make me feel that NATO will bomb everwhere Gaddafi hide and held him to the responsible. NATO changes UN’ s Mission from protecting civilians to hunting Gaddafi inspide of killing civilians. U.N. makes no comment about that.

For two times NATO’s air strikes mistakenly killed some rebels. Rebels protested about that and asked for apologies. NATO refused to do it. Rebels also complained that their administration is running out of cash as NATO’s donation has not materialized. In front of the camera rebels claimed the NATO bombing of Libya was not enough. This is the comment they made: ” All of these people we talk to, all of these countries, at all these conferences, with their great grant speeches- we appreciate (them) from the political side, but in terms of finances they are a complete failure.” Having not got the power yet and relying on the others’ support rebels make complains on that way. NATO will unable to control the situation when rebels get into power because rebels are the people who might apply whatever means to meet their goal such as inviting foreigners to bomb their homeland. Just for that reason the rebels will never win an election in Libya. Not through an election but by using dirty tricks to support the wrong people NATO will lose as well. Their lose will be huge this time because they will lose their masks of democracy.

Israeli Soldiers Killed Unarmed Palestinians at the Border

June 7th, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

On June 5th 2011, Israeli troops fired at Palestinian demonstrators in Syria and killed 20 people. It was the third time within a month that Palestinians were dead at the border, Golan Heights, that belonged to Syria 44 years ago.

It is weird that when NATO bombed Libya because Qaddafi killed rebels who have arms we hear no protesting from them to condemn the killing done by Israel. It is said Israeli soldiers did shout through loudspeakers, saying that “Anyone who tries to cross the border will be killed.” Still they do not have the right to actually commit killings. It is just like when Mexican people consider Texas once was their land. When they flee into Texas Americans can just catch them and send them back but not kill them. All those unarmed Palestinian demonstrators can do is stay at the border. As long as they did not threaten Israelis’ lives we should just let them stay there. They will leave eventually because it is tough to stay in a mountain overnight.

It is said Israel is concerned that the border protests by unarmed demonstrators are a new tactic adopted by Palestinians to draw a violent response and gain more world sympathy for their cause. I am surprised that Israel was worried about that. Jews can kill Palestinians like killing animals. If they really worry about that they get smarter and there are a lot of things they need to worry about. Maybe next time Palestinians will send women and children to that border to create more conflicts. If they are again being killed Muslim powers will not let Israel have a peaceful life forever. It is obvious that more and more countries in the Middle East are controlled by radical Muslims. Israel’s behavior gets less and less sympathy in the United States and in the world.

Started from May 29th 2011 a fire in Arizona spread to New Mexico and Texas. In over 20 days it swallowed 511,000 acres of forest and became the largest fire in Arizona’s and Texas’ history. It said that just from Jan 2011 to May 2011 three million acres of forests have been destroyed by fire in the West Coast of the United States. Once it had over 500 fire in difference places at the same times. It has been confirmed that the bigest fire was set by human and we don’t know the what actually happened. I really believe that some of those fires are terrorist attacks since we killed Bin Laden. We even have no guts to admit that because we have no way to prevent our houses which are made of wood from being burned by fire. We cannot kill all the Muslims in the United States and we don’t know which of them are bad. Giveing this world particularly the United States so much trouble Israel doesn’t care why they worry that unarmed Palestinians are killed? They think they have modern weapons to protect themselves and they forget that fire can also be a weapon. They cannot kill all the Palestinians in Israel. If Palestinians set fires instead of acting as body bombs they will create enough troubles for Jews.

Americans will stay out of business in the Middle East eventually and Israel has to deal with their problem alone.

Things NATO did in 2011 – No Vote but Bomb

June 1st, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

In March of 2011, right after the UN set up a No-fly zone in Libya the United States and NATO aircraft started striking civilian and military sites over there with the reason of helping protect civilians. Their strikes killed Qaddafi’s son and three grandsons. They repeatedly hit the locations used by Qaddafi’s family but deny that they meant to murder the leader of Libya. Qaddafi’s personal safety “ is a concern” of the president of South African Jacob Zuma who represented the African countries in their attempt to solve the conflict in Libya.

Libyans deadlock their conflicts on the ground after being bombed for four months. Thousands of civilians were dead. Food in that country last only weeks. NATO wouldn’t stop bombing because they believe that Gaddafi has to step down. Gaddafi refused to listen to NATO’s order but asked for a Libyan dialogue. He promised an immediate democratic election when NATO stops their bombing. For a few times Africa countries tried to set up a deal for ceasefire but were refused by the rebels because the rebels are being supported by NATO. The rebels asked NATO to make more air strikes by targeting the Gaddafi forces.

The whole picture shows: Instead of pushing an election in Libya NATO demanded Gaddafi quit. However, Gaddafi refuses to listen to the foreigners order and refuses to leave his country. NATO’s interference makes Libyans starve and die. Gaddafi accused NATO of aiming at grabbing Libya’s oil reserves.

Besides being accused by Gaddafi NATO was also accused by Afghan president Hamid Karzai, our allies, in the end of May 2011. On May 31, Hamid Karzai warned that the U.S-led foreign military in Afghanistan was becoming an “occupying force” if air strikes continue to cause civilian casualties. The incident which triggered Karzai’s comments was caused by NATO. It killed 14 civilians including 11 children. America launches a war in Afghanistan to catch Bin Laden. Ten years later, it proved that Bin Laden was not in Afghanistan at all. After Bin Laden was killed the United States and NATO still keep their troops in Afghanistan. Nothing seems to be out of bounds to them.

Russia once was worried that NATO’s air strikes might create bad influences in this world. In 8G Russia changed its position. After that NATO not only made the air strikes at night they also did it during the day. They attack more and more facilities.

On May 31, 2011 NATO declared that they will extend their mission until late September to protect the people of Libya. Ignoring that civilians might die from their bombs they continue their air strikes. In their mind only rebels are civilians. Video shows the rebels beheading the victims and badly mutilating their bodies. Can NATO guarantee that rebels will treat Qaddafi’s loyalists well when being challenged by weapons? Of course they cannot.

NATO supports the rebel but cannot convince them to participate in an election. They didn’t mention anything about letting Libyans vote to solve the conflict. That means NATO is not supporting justice but creating a civil war in Libya. It is a disaster for this world if NATO proves that they can do whatever they set their mind to. I guess this is how Western powers turn people into terrorists. If subways in London and Paris are being bombed by terrorists I will not be surprised. It is just simple when one side are out of bounds the other side will do the same thing. Take care!

Things Obama did in the Spring of 2011

May 21st, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

A few decisions that Obama made in the spring of 2011 that will be remembered forever.

1) He gave orders to catch and kill bin-Laden and proved that it doesn’t need two wars to take revenge for 9.11. Bush is stupid to spend two trillion dollars and killed over one hundred thousand people to catch bin-Laden. On the other hand Obama gave the order to kill bin-Laden who had no weapon in his hands. To such an important Muslim leader we are supposed to prosecute him openly but not execute him secretly. Obama’s approach was better than Bush’s war but still might create bad fights in this world. For that reason he himself might become the assassination target of terrorists. He had enemies in his front.

2) As the president of America, he announced that: boarders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps of land. His opinion made Israel upset and caused Palestine’s attention. All these years the U.S government satisfied Israel’s demands and ignored Palestine’s hopes. For that reason we got attacked on 9.11 and because of 9.11 American paid two trillion dollars and lost over four thousands lives in two wars. Those wars killed over one hundred thousand civilians as well.

Israel ignores how much America and this world paid for the conflicts they have with Palestine and refuse to give up lands they occupied in 1967. They believe that Palestine has no reason to ask for the lands that they lost 40 years ago. They forget that setting up Israel actually went back to two thousand years ago and the UN allowed them to do it.

Israel was worried that giving up those lands will leave the Jewish state indefensible. This is true considering that Obama plans to make the Palestinian state become demilitarized. Obama did use a new way to deal with the problem that pulled down the United States all these years. It is time for Jews to adjust their positions. The basic principle should be: “Do not do unto others as you would not want others to do unto you.” Obama made a brave challenge to the Jewish world and he got an enemy in his back.

3 Obama supported and hailed for the mass protests that occurred in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria and Yemen. He also supported the mass protests that occurred in Morocco, Algeria, Mauritania, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Western Sahara, Djibouti, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. He believed that is “people rising up to demand their basic human rights.” He considered the top U.S priority now was to promote democratic change across the Middle East. To support a new Egypt he forgave them one billion dollars debt and guaranteed them another one billion dollars in a loan. It was interesting that bin Laden also praised the things happened in those countries before he was killed. He considered those were great historic events and congratulated the victories that the Muslim nations made.

American taxpayers simply don’t like any financial aid to any country. Our country has a serious unemployment problem and has debt that hit the ceiling. Beside that the money might be used to support our enemy. That means when Obama is fighting for the so-called democratic reforms his backyard is on fire.

Being alive or dead, being re-elected as a president in 2012 or not, Obama did enough to make people think of him in history!

We have to deal with Radical Muslims Now but not just Al-Qaida

May 17th, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

On May 14th 2011, protesters, most of them Muslim, came from three country’s borders, Syria, Lebanon and Gaza and demonstrated in the territories that were occupied by Israel since June 5th 1967. Israeli troops shot at those people and killed at least 12 people.

At about the same time thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters outside the Israeli Embassy in Cairo surrounded it. They set fire to an Israeli flag, chanted anti-Israeli slogans and called for the expulsion of Israel’s ambassador. 353 people were hurt by Egypt police’s tear gas. A youth organization accusing policemen used force to deal with civilians. This organization was supported by the U.S government at the time former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was toppled.

It is obvious that after Bin-Laden was killed the U.S and Israeli government are not only dealing with Al-Qaida they have to deal with the Radical Muslim people. They no longer deal with an organization but with people that might be increased day after day. Those people will not act as terrorists but use the democracy and freedom they are supposed to have to express their demands.

At about the same time UN war-crimes prosecutor sought an arrest warrant for Muammar Gaddafi, accusing him of killing protesters. Meanwhile NATO continually bombed Libya to protect civilians—rebels. Theoretically the UN should not allow any civilian to be killed in the protests no matter when or where they occur. That means the UN should prosecut killers in Israel as well otherwise its double standard will create international sympathy for the Palestinian perspective.

We might be entitled to kill or arrest all the terrorists from Al-Qaida but we have no right to kill or arrest Muslim people who have radical beliefs. This world might have more and more of those people if we don’t handle things right. That means we have no way to eliminate them but can only negotiate with them. Since we have to talk to them eventually why don’t we start to do it now? To reestablish peace in this world we have to make Israel pull out from the territories they occupied in 1967. They are only entitled to have what the UN gave them in 1949. They already have what they need – a country, they have no right to make the whole world suffer from their greed forever.
