A guy, Clay Duke, from Panama City tried to kill school board members who terminated his wife. He used a pistol to take hostages at 15, December, 2010 at Bay County School Board meeting in the Nelson building off Balboa Avenue. No one get hurt except Clay Duke himself. He died from his multiple wounds before being taking away from the scene. The guy has violent record.

The school confirmed that Clay Duke’s wife was let go on in Feb, 2010. She was hired in 2009 but did not pass her probation period. We don’t know the exactly reason that his wife was fired, because of her behavior or because of no budget. Anyway it gives us a hint that the unemployment creates the unstable for the society. We can sure that if his wife had a job this tragedy would not happen.
In today’s situation, government’s policy is very important. We should avoid of laying of people but let people share jobs and cutting their working hours. Government cannot control private companies’ hiring. Government should at least adjust their rules and let the taxpayer’s fund support as many people as possible. People might strike or riot like what happened in Europe. The Union people’s excuse is that government doesn’t punish those crooked bankers but cut the benefit of the public. There for to calm the public down the government should increase rich people’s tax rate as well.

Apple Company invests only $40 and gets $80 profit back from each of their product. Their return is 200% when the other businesses’ returns are below 10%. They have such a big margin because they send their orders to over sea. They make money in this market and they don’t take care of jobs here. Government has reason to charge those businesses extra tax – importing tax.
Warren Buffet is rich yet he agreed that should make the rich pay more tax. He said that his tax rate is even low than his secretary’s rate. I wander what people did made them deserve five hundred thousand dollars income a year and up. I believe most of the reason is because they have the powers to take advantages from the businesses own by share holders in the stock market. It is shame that government cut-tax to this kind of people such as bankers who get big bonus.

In this kind of financial situation we need to enhance government’s function but not control its function. Some rich people try to reduce government’s power today. They don’t realize that they can’t not get rid of working class like get rid of garbage. It is truth that they have free trade now and they don’t need to deal with those unions any more. However, just like what happen in the Europe, poor people will not let them go. They will unite together and threat the peace in the world. That will eventually influence the market and hurt the rich. Maybe the lost that the rich have due to a riot is more than the tax-cut they get.

Government is the key factor in the picture. They should tax the rich more to calm the poor down. They should stop giving the poor free lunch but put them to work. On that way we can release the anger from the rich as well.

Tea party simply requires tax cut is not appropriately. Government should not cut tax and should spend their money in an efficiency way. Government should make investments instead of giving our bailout funds. Their investment should be able to create income or solve government’s financial problem in long term. China has a big develop in the last twenty years because their government has good control in something. Our government is lack of efficiency. It takes so long for us to pass a bill. All we do is discussing things day by day and spending money. Now we even manage things in an easiest way – cut tax. Let people happy because they have checks not smaller.

In the last eight years the Government of Finland spent forty three million dollars to make a research relates to vitamin. They observed twenty-nine thousand people who took vitamin A and vitamin C every day. They found out that people who took vitamin have higher chances to get cancer (18% higher). People who take vitamin E have higher chances to get heart attack (50% higher).
This research is reliable because it was arranged by government that has no private motivation of downgrading something. . Dr. Victor Herbert from FDA American has some explanation about this. He believes that when vitamin is inside an orange it functions as antioxidant. However, when it is out of the orange the same vitamin will turn to be prooxidant that can cause heart attack or cancer. The research reminded us that even natural vitamins have side effect.

I can’t imagine the amazing changes that vitamins have from inside and outside of an orange. I just notice that there is no any scientists can create an orange in a laboratory. I just believe that the plants in our world, there are thousands of kinds, must be able to heal mankind’s illnesses in some ways. As a matter of a fact in the last few thousand years our ascendants used herbs as medicines. Why don’t we test their knowledge about herbs and review their opinions about illnesses? We so rely upon the chemical compounds we made. We start the whole research from the beginning and focus on the theories that have been tested for only two hundred years. We believe in man made things more than believing in God made things. We spent too much money on the drug researching. Now we realized that some medicine actually have no functions. For examply we found out that Avastin can not heal breast cancer; most cancer treatments do not make patients live longer; some kind of cought medicine for children actually have no treatment effect. The expenses of those useless medicine and the researching about weather they work or not work were added into our medical bills and make them unaffordable.

Realizing that Vitamin has side effects is an important discovery. The announcment from the governmnet of Finland is even more important. I appreciate their wisdom and courage. This is the courage we need for changing our world.

All these years we only hear refugees from the communist countries were died in the way of seeking freedom. Today we see refugees were died for escaping from wars — wars that created by a country that practices freedom and democracy.

Ten days before the Christmas of 2010, in Christmas Island Flying Fish Cove near Australia, a boat with 80 refugees was smashed onto rocks in heavy wave and sank. It caused twenty seven people died and ten people disappeared. Many of them were children.

People mentioned about the horrible scenery: some 3 or 4 years old children were holding something and asked for help. Since the wave was up to 4 feet high and rescuers can do nothing but watch the children die. People couldn’t even catch floats that were one meter away from them. All the refugees were from Iraq where is having a war since Sep, 11, 2001.

In Oct, 2001, right after wars occured a boat with 421 refugees from Iraq and Afghan sank on the way to Australia. Three hundred fifty three people died in the accident and 146 of them were children. We hardly see refugees from Middle East and Afghan until Bush’s Government creating wars over there for protecting American’s homeland. Iraq and Afghan have a lot of resources that can maintain good life for their people. If there were no wars those refugees didn’t have to leave their homes and died in the sea. Bush still believes that the ways he catching Bend Laden were right. He published a book with a few hundred pages to defend the wars he launched and make good money on that.

In my last article I draw a picture of my retirement home. How to run the retirement home is important because if no one likes to move in there the proposal will have no meaning. Today I am going to calculate the financial benefit we can gain from that kind of project.

Usually, monthly expense for a retirement person can go up to $1500: Eight hundred dollar rent for a one bad room apartment; two hundred dollars for cable, electricity and phone; two hundred dollars for food and pocket money: three hundred dollars for maintaining a car. Many people have to keep working after 62 years old because their social security checks are not big enough to cover their expenses. It will be a good deal for most of them if a retirement home can provide them free food and free shelter instead of paying them $800 to $ 1200 social security check. This fee is much lower than what the nursing homes charge today. For half room nursing charge $3000 to $ 10,000 per month. I strong believe that the ideals I mention here is attractive for many people.

Let us see the expenses portion now. For build a retirement home in suburb with one hundred unites it needs about three to four million dollars. Those unites will connect together, with no kitchen but have facilities for individual cooking. In case studio, one bed room and two bed room are one third of the retirement homes. If the rent of studio worth $600, one bed room worth $800 and two bed room worth $1,000 government can save $850,000 social security check in a years. In four to six years they can get their investment back.

If the property can maintain 50 years government will be able to save 36 million dollars social security payment all together. Assume that one third of the incomes are pay as maintenace fee that actually are pocket money for people who work part time in the retirement home. Government still get about 20 million dollars return from just one retirement home within 50 years. It is said our social security will be gone soon. Instead of increasing taxing young generation we can use free housing to substitute social security payment and solve the deficit problems.

How come it is so easy to get financial return from retirement home? It is because the entertainments we arranging there actually create wealth. Apartments in a suburb might not worth that much rent. The programs, activities and courses it provides make people willing to live there for that kind of rent.

To start working on that, we can let our colleges and universities make up proposals first. We have architecture, social work, financial, economic accounting students. We can give them assignment to find location, to make architecture design, to calculate the construction cost and to arrange activities for the retirement home. They then can contact people who graduated from their colleges convincing them to retire and live in schools’ retirement home instead of receiving social security checks. If they have 100 registers government should give them fund and start the project. This can be considered a non- profit business of our colleges. It will give a chance to our students to run business and practice what they learn in the textbooks.

I don’t know if my plan works. That is why I list all the details here and let people comment it. Base on my personal experience when I live with seven friends in an apartment of Hong Kong my life was much happy then today. Now I can see sun raising and sunset in my apartment. I can see moon on my bed but I get no one to talk to. Not even one person around me read my blog. Your comments and encourage are very important for me. I can’t imagine what the loneliness will be when I am old and sick. When I lived with my friends we discussed problems relate to political, economic, philosophy, art and astrology. We made small gambles by playing Majiang — a game from ancient China. I know what companies mean. We need to have companies, have fund and we don’t need a lot of money. That is why I so believe that retirement home will work if we run it well. I have all the hopes for our youth to practice it.

Two days ago I said that Obama made no change in the last two years. He simply did every idiot can do in his position – handing out checks. Instead of creating jobs he extends jobless aid and for passing his deal he extends tax-cut that involve $900 billion dollars. After posting that article I thought my comment maybe is too harsh. Maybe I didn’t concern the worries of unemployed people and I didn’t know the difficulty of creating jobs.

I see figures and comments today that help me to release my worries. It said that N.Y city’s economy is growing twice as fast as the rest of the country and eight times as fast as the rest of the state. That means it did have big difference between two goals: put people back to work and provide jobless aid. Bloomberg is working hard achieve the figures. He criticized that “when it comes to creating jobs, government hasn’t gotten the job done.” A few days ago he suggested Obama to change his financial team. That is exactly why I think. Right now Obama is too depended on the people who have no pratical experience but only learned from books and teach in school all their lives. He should choose successful business man as his consultants.

Why is unemployment rate so high? We short of 15 million jobs in the United States.
We have more than two million new people get into the job market every year. Theoretically we should have about the same amount of people retired. If we post pond the retirement age from 62 to 66 years old that means we have to at least create 10 million jobs for our youths. Besides that we lost 6 million jobs for the free trade policy. That is why altogether we need 15 million jobs in the market. That kind of employment problem is not the free economic system can solve automatically. Our government doesn’t realize the serious of the situation and hope by stimulating the consuming jobs can come back over night.

In the last two years we cannot increase jobs no matter how we stimulated consumption. Why don’t change our direction and solve the employment problem by decreasing job demand. We have many ways to approach our goal.

The immediately way is to let people share government’s jobs. Cut government employees’ working hours but not reduce their salary rate. I just read news saying that by late 2012 federal government will hire more than 270,000 people and 50% of them will have starting salaries exceeded $ 100,000. Why does government provides that kind of high pay and give aid to jobless people one year after another year meanwhile? We don’t we let everybody have fare job to support their basic needs? Doing such stupid arrangements is because we can waist taxpayers’ funds in whatever way or because we can print dollars anyway.

Since unemployment mostly is relates to the post pond of retirements we can try to solve the problem in another way. See if we can have a deal that is affordable by the government and is acceptable by the retired people. We can use the fund for bail out consumers, for building high speed rail and for green revolution to build retirement homes. The construction can create jobs immediately and the government own properties can create substitute payments for social security checks in long term.

The most important thing is how to run the retirement homes appropriately. We have to make sure that people living in there will enjoy lives but not waiting to death. I have my opinions stated in my book “Why Life Events are Predestined and How Our Universe Originated – Way to view and change this world” very clear. In here I quote some of my meanings.

1. Retirement home locations don’t have to be in the cities but must be within 100 miles of cities and universities. Every week we arrange trips to the places where have excitements. We have retirement home in all over the countries and allow people to switch from one to another. People moving around just like having vacations, two years in Hawaii, two years in Florida two years in New York and tow years in Cali folia.
2. Retirement homes will have different levels and have different size of apartments. People can register there basing on their social security incomes. They can also check in with family members and friends.
3. We will have different courses and activities in the retirement homes. Course could be related to computer, cooking, dancing, Yoga, Taiji, inter design etc. Activities can be sporting, dancing, playing poker, chesses and Majiang. Watching T.V and getting on lines of course was included in the daily schedules.
4. We will have farm around there to provide fresh organic vegetables. We will make different kind food for we have people from different kind of country. Activities relate to production and services should be paid.
5. Since people living there are not old at all. We can take care of ourselves by working volunteer or getting low paid from the government. Besides having free shelters and food we can have some pocket money when work there 10 or 15 hours a week.
6. The 10 or 15 hours works can include take care or senior people who need help. On that way we can make sure that we will get someone take care of us when we get old. It will save a lot of homecare fee for the government as well.
7. People live in the retirement home is base on free will. It will provide medical care or medical checkup. It doesn’t have insurance. People who tent to create legal sues are not allowed to move in.

I don’t know if my opinions are practical. I list them here and hope to see people’s comments. Retirement can give us a better life and help the society to solve the unemployment problems. For a few times I read articles saying that people feel happier in senior homes than at their own homes. They can enjoy foods from different countries there. I believe when people get old they need companies more than money. That is why I strongly believe it works.
We can set the retirement age at 60 years old. People who refuse to retire have to work to 69 years old and get no payment. Or we mandatory to make people retire. Some people prefer working is just because they have nothing to do at home after retire. Studying before 25 years old, working from 25 to 60 old and enjoying lives after 60 years old is a fair arrangement for mankind.

Again, building up retirement homes and providing free housing can save huge social security payments for the government. That gives people chances to enjoy lives before they get old as well. Retiring earlier will reduce our income, consumption and jobs demands but we get entertainments as compensation. In the period of internet we can have a lot of free and low cost entertainment as long as we have time.
