Protesting in Egypt

February 8th, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

I haven’t posted new articles in my blog whole week because I was watching riot in Egypt and could not get a clear picture. It made me frustrated until this article was finished.
In my opinion protesting Egypt involved with three factors. 1) People particular youth have no jobs but facing 17% inflation. 2) They believe that the bag economic situation was due to government’s dictatorship. 3) Some dangers powers tried to irritate people and take powers from the government.

My comments for factor one:
I have mentioned the consequences of jobless in some of my articles previously warning that unemployed youths might create instability for the society. Egypt’s unemployment rate is about 9%. However, unemployed rate for youths was above 70%. Youths took loan and struggled for many years. When they finishing school they find out that there are no jobs in the market for them at all. Having energy and angers things they tend to do is riot. This situation actually will happen in all over the world. It will become seriously because we will have more youths looking for jobs. If we ignore them we will get trouble. That is why I suggesting share jobs and arrange older people retire.

In today’s world people we have to feed are seven million instead of four million in 1975. Within thirty five years populations in our global have increased 75% yet we still expect our system automatically create jobs in the market. Miracle could not happen even in the United States how can we expect Egypt government solve the unemployment problem. That is why I suggesting governments in this world set up programs to help people to get food, shelters and entertainment. Things we can do the most is developing agriculture. Having no jobs for their people is not Egypt government’s fault yet. However if it doesn’t find some practical ways to solve the problem it will be government’s fault soon.

My comments for factor two:
We have no doubt that Hosni Mubarak imposed dictatorship in the last thirty years. He meanwhile is important western power in the Middle East. That means he gave his people freedoms in some way. He has to be a dictator because Egypt facing challenge from conserve Muslins people. The conflicts between these two powers relate to the country’s future: going forward or backward.

Why people didn’t force him to resign all these years because people have no jobs today. Egypt has over eighty million people and people who join the protesting recently might be less than 15%. Protesting in Egypt once turned to be riots that stopped functions in country. Supermarkets were robbed. Museum was destroyed. Schools and government offices were closed. Women were being raped. In streets. More than one million tourists left Egypt within ten days. All together Egypt lost 31 billion dollars in ten days and its economic went backward for 50 years.

It is said more and more Egyptians feel angry about the protesting and agree Museum resign on September. They realized that they could not put democracy on tables and consider that is bread. Before the protesting inflation in Egypt was 17%. After the protesting inflation of food jump up to 80% and most of the food were sold out in the stores. Protesting last longer the damage will be bigger. So it is too early to say that protesting people represent Egyptians’ willing. However, for imposing democracy, Obama government and some human right organizations push Mubarak step down as soon as possible. They didn’t realize that some dangers things could happen.

My opinion to factor three:
At the ninth days of the protesting, power that control the protesting still refuse to show up and negotiate with government. In spite of economic losing 3 billion dollars in ten days they swear that the strike will continue till Mubarak resign. If they don’t show up that means they are plotters. Some conservative Muslin power might want to overthrow a government that is friendly to Western world. For supporting a government like that in Afghan U.S has spent huge funds. How can we push Mubarak step down without knowing powers behind the protesting people? That might mean we allow extreme Muslin power overthrow a government without making a gunshot. That also means they can do the same thing in Sandi Arabia, Yemen and Jordan.

I don’t like Israel’s expansion policy in the Middle East and I don’t like Muslin’s extreme doctrine as well. I can’t imagine that the whole Middle East move backward such as force women cover their faces. I cannot imagine that women’s right of accepting education and enjoying sax are being deprived. Giving democracy right to the protesting people in Egypt might means giving up freedom for women in the Middle East. I don’t understand Obama’s stander

After above opinions were composed more news about Egypt came. In the tenth days some opposite powers started to negotiation with government. Muslin Brotherhood asked for granting press freedom, rolling back police powers, not to harass protestors, taking care complaints about political prisoners. Their demanding was accepted by the government. They meanwhile declared that they will care about the benefit of their country, they will not rescind Egypt’s 1979 peace treaty with Israel and they will not force woman cover in public. It seems that they are not the extreme religion powers.

Unfortunately young men and women who launched the protest in the very beginning refused to negotiate with the government that represents by Mubarak. Behind them was a Noble prize receiver Mohamed ELBaradei. They blame on Mubarak for the country’s repression, corruption and wide spread poverty. Their protesting has created three billion dollars lost in ten days and I don’t think a poor country like Egypt can sustain that kind of pressure. Lacking concerns to the benefit of their country means that they are not good leaders. Nowsady launch protection is much more easier than creating jobs.

Egypt troop handled things appropriately in the protesting. If they had forced protestors to leave, we would see blood in the square. This is a criticle moment and I am surprised that a person who once received Noble peace prize refused to talk for peace.

Obama’s Big Talk

January 29th, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

A reader wanted to know more about my privacy. I can tell one thing here. I never hear Obama’s speech even though I have all these political comments in my blog. That day I turned off the T.V the same minute when I accidentally saw him talk in the Arizona Memorial meeting. I even didn’t understand why I had that kind of reaction at that moment. For clearing my thought I pull out the full text of his speech and read it. I thought it was his mentions about the little girl’s expectation gave me a bad impression. I felt that he was making another big talk. Let me quote what he said and tell you how I think here. Maybe I am wrong this time.

He said: “I want to live up to her expectations. I want our democracy to be as good as Christina imagined it. I want America to be as good as she imagined it.”
May be I am too trickily and short of imagination. In my mind Christina’s sudden passing took her chances of making hopes in her young life. A nine year old girl might have some hopes for her own self but she obviously is too young to have expectation to our democracy and to our country. Saying the other five people had those kind of wishes might make sense. It is really something that Obama put big wishes on a nine year old girl at the end and turn his speech to an empty talk.

I believe even Obama doesn’t have pictures about a better America. What is a better American? An America that pay high salary to her people; an American that has low tax rate; an America that without national debt; an America that gives people free health insurance or America that gives people jobs…..If all of them are answers we sure we cannot make it. That is why Obama simply said “they believed – they believed, and I believe that we can be better.”

“The men who tackled the gunman as he stopped to reload..” are the really hero in this picture. Obama even didn’t mention the men’s names.

The assassination had nothing to do with conflicts between parties. The murder obvious is a mental patient. May be couldn’t find a job drove him even more crazy. He had personal contact with Gabby or he might feel mad that she did not enough for the public. Obama said “What we cannot do is use this tragedy as one more occasion to turn on each other.” He was seriously off the topic. It makes me feel that we have reason to pointing fingers or assigning blame each other for this assassination we did not do it because Obama said “that we cannot do.”

What are They Going to Do?

January 27th, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

In this article I am going to list things that some politicians are going to do.

New York Mayor Bloomberg said his is going to fight for the controlling power and change NYC’s employee pension system. He notices that every New Yorker has to pay about $2500 annually for New York City’s pension benefit. A family with four people have to pay $ 10,000 to the people who have retired from their City jobs. Ten years ago such expenses for NYC was1.5 billion dollars. Today the amount go up to 7 billion dollars. Bloomberg’s plan is against by Union people.City’s police and fire unions withdrew their support for him in 8th, Feb 2011. Blomberg’s term will be finished anyway. However the NYC controller Mr Liu who will be the candidate of NYC mayor in the coming election is standing on the side of union people. This is how election controll our politicians.

New York State governor Andy Cuomo will not increase tax but cutting expenses to run the state budget. He has deducted 5% of his own salary, $9,000. He is going to revamp the Medicaid system and education funding. He will close or consolidate some departments and make some lay off. When he struggles so hard to balance his budget some people in the high positions getting salary increased up to $20,000. He
was shocked and is going to stop them.

Government of Arizona ignores Federal’s rule and stop paying medical bill for low income families. It is said even though they controlled their payments in 2010 their medical expense was still increased 50% up. Many States are going to do the same thing for their budget gap combines in 2011 can reach 140 billion dollars. When states default Federal government might not give a hand for they have no reason to pay what ever the state spent. It happened in1841 some states defaulted and got no help from Federal. They had to increase their real estate tax for eight times. Today the total debt our States have reached two trillion dollars and it seems our Federal government will be unable to provide helps. That means we have at least 30 Greece in the United States. States are going to do something like what Arizona do but I am afraid it is too late.

California will give accept bids for their high speed rail project which costs about $100 billion dollars. Investment for the first stage is 45 billion dollars and it can create about 1500 jobs. It is interesting that as the poorest state in the Unite State California is the first state that full fill Obama’s dream of building high speed rail.

House Majority Leader Eric Canto said his fellow Republicans would not vote to increase the federal debt limit unless it was coupled with spending cuts and reforms. They try to bring spending levels down to 08 level but didn’t make any actual proposals. They just put some words there. If anything happens it will be all Obama’s fault. They cannot wait to see how Obama react when the market is collapse.

By the end of March 2011 Federal debt will reach $14.294 trillion. Obama administration warning that failing to increase the borrowing limit would cause the federal government to default on its debt obligation. The disaster it creates will be not less than the financial crisis in 2008. Obama’s team believes that Republicans dare not let the collapse happen. They thus don’t really care what words that Republicans put down. It is obviously that making reforms needs time but nothing was being discussed today, two month before debt over the limit. It looks like those lawmakers are doing nothing but playing games by throwing balls to each other.

In the State of the Union address, Obama simply proposed a five-year freeze on some government spending. Freezing spending means he is going to do nothing. His new investment will be in research and education that was our government did sixty years ago. It is shame that he used “change” as a slogan to win his position but not make a bit of change after that.

Government’s investing is so important at this critical moment. Obama doesn’t care about what kind of jobs are shot in this country. A lazy way is to invest in clean energy research and education fields that we always need. He forgets that his goal is to create jobs. If money was spent and jobs were not created he will still be unforgivable. It is obvious that most unemployed people are blue collar workers and they cannot fill in positions for teacher or scientists’ positions? Provide quality education for our youth sounds good. However if our students have no jobs after finishing schools what is the point to provide them education. Obama is doing nothing for creating jobs and he did nothing to cut budget as well. All he did is to make empty talks.

What are they doing?

January 26th, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

In this article I am going to tell what are some people doing. Those are the people who I concerned and things they did can be enlightening for us.
Case One
Thousands of American soldiers come back from the front. Their regular lives once were interrupted because of joining the army. The wars frustrated them and broke their hearts. Now they are facing difficulty such as having no jobs. It is said veteran’s unemployment rate is 35% and almost ten thousand of them have no homes.
Colin Archipley went Iraq for three times. After leaving the army he and his wife bought a farm in South California and named it Archi’s Acres. They grow organic living basil, cilantro, dill lettuce there and sell their products to local stores. They found out that plants have the results of therapy. They set training program to help the other returning veterans to transition back into the normal lives as well as in sustainable agriculture.
When everybody is looking jobs in the market they create their own jobs. Not only that they support the others. They don’t mind that their training courses might create components. They make my idea of developing agriculture become practical.
Those young men once fought together in the front and the environment made them tend to concern each other. Now they learn how to grow business together and get wealth from our land together. For the experiences they had in the wars they must know the value of peace and the meaning of lives. Let us applause for their recovering, for their growths and for their working together. I believe they will do a lot more things in the future because the wars make them contemplated the meaning of live seriously. Seeking for peaceful lives and obtaining agriculture products from lands will eventually built up a brand new life style for mankind. When they are doing something for this society their broken heart will be able to heal.
Case two
A blood cancer patient from Sheng Zheng China, Zheng Wen Ling, built up a company with over one thousand employees. 99% of them disable people, an accountant lost an arm or a secretary lost both palms. He himself prepares to die the next day because patients like him usually die before 48 years old and he is 56 years old already. He said that he have got more than he deserved, a longer life and a big kingdom for disability people.

He built up a business in internet that made soft ware and carton video. Before that he committed suicide for three times for he could not find a job and he didn’t know the meaning of his life. Watching T.V and reading newspaper at home make him feel was living in vain. He connected four other disability people through internet and set up their business. Now they are not only pay their employee salaries they provide shelters and food for them. They said it is easier for them to take care of disability people in their company than the regular companies because they have all the convenient facilities. They are going to promote this kind of business concept in the national wide or even in the worldwide. Financially independent gives them confidant and dignity. Living in that way is obviously happier than living in wealth fare.
I concern the people I mention above because their lives are tough than the others. I respect them because they live in a beautiful way no matter how difficult their lives are. In the beginning I meant to put them together with the people I mentioned in How are Them? You still can make a compare between them. Can’t you?

How Are Them?

January 22nd, 2011  / Author: Pia Fields

Base on my predestined theory, positive things that we obtain in our lives are fixed. What I mean is the sum of wealth, health and happiness is unchanged and composed by an equation. If we have wealth more then what we deserved for maintaining the same sum our happy and health have to be reduced.

For clarifying my opinion I list some well people’s experiences in this article with the title of how are them.

Richard Madoff was cheating for money all these years. He set up a fund to collect money from investors and made no investment but spending them all for himself. Today, at his old age, he has to hang on in jail for the rest of his life. I was wondered what was his feeling when he heard that he son was died for what he did. His dear son could not stand the accusing and committed suicide. Thinking about the torture his son had been received Madoff might prefer to die as well. Because for him die is better than live. This case proofs that if you committee crime you have to pay for your sin. You chose to surfer for accumulating wealth for your sons and unfortunately your son has to suffer as well.

In January of 2011, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, starts to take a sick leave. At the first time I saw his picture I wondered how come he sustained so much wealth. Basing on my astrology experience he should not be that rich and I didn’t know any of his health problems then. Now the answer comes. He has cancer and his had liver transplant that couldn’t give him a health life. That means he will be unable to own those wealth because his life will be ended soon.
I don’t know stories about Steve Jobs. I just notice the price he paid to the Chinese contractor. If a person sells his production for $190 and spend only $4 installment fee that person is not a general person. As a result workers work for him in China jumped out of windows one by one. People may say that is not his responsibility for he just gives his contract to the Chinese business sector. As I know the boss of that Chinese business is not a greedy person for he has promised to donate 90% of his wealth to the society after he died. However the boss said he cannot increase even 5% of salary to his workers for the company will have no business return if doing that.

Apple invests about $40 in each I-phone and gets $80 of profit. The business return is almost 200% and the return he allows his contractor has is less than 5%. If the $ continue go down Vs. RMB the 5% profit that his contractor made will become negative. For maximizing his profit Steve Jobs grasp money without merciful and now God treat him without merciful as well. Isn’t that a joke that he has the money and he has to die at the same time he made the money?

Wars decider Dick Cheney is facing a big decision now, if he should make a heart transplant again or not.
Cheney, 69 , received a heart pump in July that leaves its recipients without a pulse. His heart will never beat at full strength again. The device poses a risk of infection. Cheney has already suffered five heart attacks, the most recent coming in February 2010.
For a rich person like him, 69 years life is not long enough to enjoy his money. When Cheney was the Vice President his wife Lynnette Cheney obtained an important position in Lockheed Martin, an arms producer that has the most contracts from Bush’s government. Lockheed Martin was also the number one donor in Bush’s presidential campaign which has 10 million dollars donated from twenty five major arms producing companies.
It is said Cheney is also face charges in Nigeria for Haliburton bribe scar. The bribe involved 180 million dollars to Nigerian officials for a energy project in the Niger Delta between 1991 to 2004.
The most difficult experience mankind encounter must be facing death or being dying. Cheney has to die for five times. I wonder how he thinks about the experience. He thinks it is luck that died for five times and still alive or he feels sad that he has to pass though the horrible experience five times more than the regular people.
I believe many people like me in this world are waiting to see how he death. He is being cursed by too many people. It is not worth to sustain that kind of curses for money.

In January 2011 former House Republican leader Tom Delay was sentenced to three years in prison in. The jury in Austin, Texas found him guilty of money laundering and conspiracy.
The leader for a Republican in House is a criminal sounds imposable but it is truth. Without obvious proofs America law would not sentence an important person like him in this way. So it is shame for him and it is shame for his voters. That is all I want to tell you in this article, How are Them
